The Closing of a Season

December 3, 2025

I’m going to make this post, as they say, “short and sweet.”

The Closing of a Season #hope #joy #WritingCommunity Share on X

This will be my last post on my website. The website will remain up for the foreseeable future; however, at some point I may take it down. I began posting here in May 2019 with the intent to challenge my creativity, writing discipline, and dependence on God for His message. God was faithful in working through my posts to do just that. I’ve grown in so many ways over the last six years.

I stopped weekly articles at the end of 2024 and for 2025 I wrote monthly. Now, as the end of this year draws near, I believe the season of writing for the website has drawn to a close.

I want to thank those of you who have been occasional or faithful readers. I’ve enjoyed the brief conversations we’ve had through the comment section. Some of you I only know virtually, but still I know you and I’ve been blessed to pray for you when opportunities arise.

My prayer for all of you is that God will bless you and keep you safe. May He always be an ever-present help in your most trying times.

Outside of my church roles, and time with family, this last photo shows where you’ll find me spending my leisure time. I’m not very good at either one, but maybe I’ll get better.

Merry Christmas!
